Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. |
AA Online Chatrooms IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ (Scroll down for chatroom login if you've already read this.) Our chatroom facility has been upgraded. Some users with old computers or old operating systems may experience problems because the chatroom uses a newer version of Java. You may have to upgrade Java. The advice from the chatroom company is as follows... 1. Empty your browser's cache, then shutdown all open browsers before testing the update.AA Online cannot give further technical help or advice connected with the chatroom upgrade since any problems will be the result of the operating system, browser and Java on your own computer and we cannot give advice about those things.
